Kävin koeajamassa pyörää laukkujen ja renkaiden kanssa. Laukut eivät olleet täynnä ja bensakanisterikin oli tyhjä. Ajettavuus on selvästi erilainen kuin tyhjällä pyörällä. En ole harrastanut ajelua kyytiläisenkään kanssa, niin ei ollut oikein ennakkokäsitystä ajettavuudesta kuorman kanssa. Arvioisin että renkaat, varabensa, varaosat, työkalut, teltta ym matkatavarat painanevat noin 50-60 kiloa.
Viisumiasiat ovat nyt järjestyksessä, Mongolian viisumi lähti maanantaina ja tuli perjantaina. Olen yrittänyt selvitellä tullimuodollisuuksia, etenkin Venäjän autositoumus askarruttaa. Eiköhän se siitä jotenkin suttaannu rajalla, tavalla tai toisella.

I went for a test-drive with the gear. The bags weren't full and the gas canister was empty as well. The handling was clearly different with the gear, than without.
I haven't ridden with a passenger before, so i didn't really have any expectations about the handling with the gear. I'd say that the tires, the gas, the spare parts, the tools, the tent etc.. weigh about 50-60 kilos.
Visa is now ready, Mongolian visa left on Monday and came back on Friday. I've been trying to find out about the customs formalities, especially the Russian temporary permit for a vehicle. I think it'll figure itself out on the border, on one way or another.
